Checklist
- Confirm the AWS account, covered service, region and applicable SLA variant.
- Preserve affected resource IDs and request/error logs with UTC timestamps.
- Document deployment configuration, including Availability Zones where relevant.
- Calculate the SLA metric for the full billing cycle, not just the public incident duration.
- Open the correctly titled AWS Support case before the applicable deadline.
