  2. Preserve affected resource IDs and request/error logs with UTC timestamps.
  3. Document deployment configuration, including Availability Zones where relevant.
  4. Calculate the SLA metric for the full billing cycle, not just the public incident duration.
  5. Open the correctly titled AWS Support case before the applicable deadline.
